Hale Center Recycle Center is located at 1465 CR 185.
From East Cleveland go South on East I-27 Service Road, turn East on CR 185, go 0.6 miles on East CR 185,
then its on the right (south side of road). 

Open:  Fri. & Sat. 9am-12pm / 1pm-5pm, and  Sun 1pm-5pm.


PROHIBITED ITEMS FOR ALLEY DUMPSTERS
PROHIBITED ITEMS FOR ROLLOFFS AT RECYCLING CENTER
 
1. COMMERCIAL TIRES 
2. TOXIC, HAZARDOUS OR INDUSTRIAL WASTE or CONTAINERS including the following, BUT not limited to: 

  • Anti-freeze
  • Diesel or fuel filters (contains benzene and other harmful chemicals) 
  • Treated or tainted seeds of any kind including bags 
  • Pesticides, Herbicides, Fungicides, and Rodenticides 
  • Lead base paints and Paint Thinners (all types) 
  • Chemical Fertilizers 
  • All Solvents and Degreasers 
  • Chemical Varnishes 
  • Asbestos waste of any type (including insulation, siding, or shingles) 
  • Dead Animals or Slaughter House Waste 
  • Sludge or Septic Tank Sludge 
3. MEDICAL WASTE 

  • Infectious or Pathological Waste from hospitals, laboratories, research facilities, health care or nursing homes and veterinary facilities, and private home care for the ill or elderly. 
  • Syringes or needles (sharps) 
4. Dirt, Sand, Rocks, Concrete, Cement, Etc. 
5. Building Materials, such as, but not limited to:

  • Shingles 
  • Lumber (will accept only small quantities not to exceed 18 inches in length and not to exceed size of a 2”x 4” board)
  • Florescent light ballast's contains PCBs
8. No bulk kennel waste 
9. Tree limbs over 3" in diameter, leaves, brush trimmings, or Christmas trees (all compost type 
      material) 
10. Grass Clippings (compost) - Must be bagged to deposit into dumpsters or recycle center. 
11. Burning or Smoldering Materials (Fireplace ashes, or stove ashes, etc.) 
12. Empty containers that have been used to store herbicides, poisons, pesticides or other chemicals
      must be rinsed twice before placing in the waste container for disposal.
